A misty day in Cedarvale

3rd March: Jerry Austin recently sent me these photos of a misty morning in Cedarvale. He took them around 9 am on Wednesday 22nd February. This one shows the top of the toboggan slope, just off Humewood Drive/Heathdale; you can vaguely see “Lake Cedarvale” through the mist.

Here is the main path seen from the Glen Cedar footbridge. A lone figure is out walking:

Jerry says these are Siberian elms. His camera has moved over to the right from the previous shot. These heavily treed ravine slopes are my favourite part of the park.

The park is ever-changing as it moves through the seasons. Jerry has captured a particular moment in time, with the mist hanging over everything. If anyone else has captured a moment like this, or some event of interest, please send me your photos.
