Saturday 23rd November brought a dusting of snow to the ravine. The dark red of the sumacs stood out well against the evergreens behind.
The off-leash dog area was almost deserted – just one lonely hound – and the early darkness of a late November day was already approaching.
Further south, the red of the dogwood red osier contrasted well against the snow. There were still a few yellow and red apples hanging on the branches, with a purplish-blue creek below.
The cat-tails too looked very stark and wintry. By this time, I was looking forward to a nice, hot cup of coffee in Loblaws!
